We offer workshops on the following areas such as Physical Activity and Relaxation, Self Confidence and Assertiveness, weight management, Maintaining Your Wellbeing, Overcoming Anger and Irritability, stop smoking and Long term Condition.

Physical Activity and Relaxation

This workshop explores the relationship between physical activity and emotional wellbeing. We look at changes that can be made to our everyday routines and try to increase the activity level with a further emphasis on breathing techniques, meditation, mindfulness and progressive muscular relaxation.

Self Confidence

This workshop focuses on empowering individuals to increase their understanding of self-confidence with an emphasis on challenging the unhelpful beliefs we have created about ourselves. We assess your life in all areas and introduce a positive action plan striving for balance. We recondition your mind and habits allowing you to step into a more fulfilled, confident life.

Reaching Your Potential

A two part workshops that aims to increase our understanding of our own selves and our belief systems by focusing on developing positive thinking and healthy mind sets. We look to challenge unhelpful habits with an emphasis on overcoming the fears that prevent you for reaching your full potential.

Maintaining Your Wellbeing

A two part workshop that focuses on increasing your understanding of support services for young people and caring for yourself and your own wellbeing. We explore the foundations of counselling and support groups and how these work whilst providing guidance on problem solving within your caring role and effective communication as a parent-carer.

Overcoming Anger and Irritability

This workshop focuses on understanding the role anger plays in our lives and ways to overcome it. You will learn strategies to better manage your anger and irritation in everyday life and explore a range of responses to anger triggers and social attitudes toward it.

Stop Smoking

As you probably already know, it isn’t easy! You may well have tried before, if not you may be wondering how you’re going to kick your habit of a lifetime. Well you’re in the right place, as you are 4 times more likely to quit with our help, compared to going cold turkey.

We can provide weekly sessions of help and support to get you through the hardest part of quitting . You can expect top quality advice on medications that can help you along with support on the really difficult bit – changing your behaviours and habits so you can be smokefree, for good.

Long term condition LTC

Suitable for anyone who lives with a long term condition (Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Arthritis, Hearth Disease and Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia) who is interested in taking a more active approach in the self-management of their condition. We know that living with a long term condition can be challenging and stressful at times. This may be because the health condition itself can be demanding to manage and/or the condition may be having a significant impact upon many different aspects of life including routine activities, mood, energy, sleep and relationships.

Weight Management

If you're struggling to lose weight or stick to a healthier diet, it's not that you don't know what you should do - it’s that sticking to your goals and resisting temptation can be more difficult than you thought! This course will show you how to stick to those goals and resist tempting, diet-busting foods and activities through proven mental strategies.

This course will teach you how to build your willpower and use your self-control strength to resist temptation and how to effectively plan for opportunities to take actions that help meet your goals.

Parent-Carer Wellbeing

This workshop offers strategies, resources and tips to help parents with the challenges of a new born baby. We will provide guidance on problem solving within your caring role and effective communication as a parent-carer.
